Calcium Silicate Board – 12mm

What to Expect When Buying Calcium Silicate Board
Calcium silicate board is a high-performance, non-combustible building board manufactured from a calcium silicate matrix reinforced with cellulose fibres and mineral fillers, cured under high-pressure steam in an autoclave. It offers excellent fire resistance combined with dimensional stability, making it ideal for use in and around fireplaces and other high-heat applications.

Each board is independently tested and certified to the highest reaction-to-fire standards by Warringtonfire (part of Element, one of the UK's most respected fire testing houses). Testing to EN ISO 1716:2010 and EN ISO 1182:2020 has achieved a Class A1 reaction-to-fire classification under EN 13501-1 — the top European rating, awarded only to materials that make no contribution to fire.

As an engineered product, calcium silicate board offers a consistent, uniform result from board to board, giving you a dependable material you can specify with confidence. Its smooth surface provides an ideal base for finishing, tiling or fitting within fireplace chambers and heat-sensitive installations.
