Coming Soon: New Brazilian Riven Slate Shapes

With these latest additions, our Brazilian Riven Slate range will now span nine distinct shapes — giving you more choice than ever to find the perfect fit for any fireplace or installation.
We're excited to announce five new shapes joining the range. Each piece is cut and finished to the same high standard as our existing slate hearths, now in versatile new designs to suit a wider variety of fireplace openings and installations.
New shapes:

1/8 Arc Square
1/4 Arc Square
1/8 Arc Rectangle
1/4 Arc Rectangle
Circles

The arc-cut fronts give a softer, more contemporary look, while the circular hearths offer a striking centrepiece option — all retaining the natural riven texture and character Brazilian slate is known for. Get in touch to register your interest or pre-order ahead of stock arrival.

Supply Update – Brazilian Slate Stock
March 2026

You may have noticed reduced availability of our Brazilian slate slabs over the past few months. This has been due to exceptionally high levels of rainfall in Brazil over the last four months, which has significantly impacted quarry operations.

The quarries have experienced continuous flooding, preventing water from being cleared quickly enough to safely extract slate blocks. As a result, production and supply have been temporarily disrupted.

We’re pleased to confirm that conditions are now improving, and we expect our core product lines to be fully restocked within the next month.

We appreciate your patience during this period and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to your projects.

As always, we remain committed to maintaining consistent supply and will continue to keep you updated.
